A Fed Bear

Have you heard the term, “unintended consequences?”

Imagine that you want to give food to a bear, and for the sake of the discussion, let’s assume the bear won’t choose to make a meal of you.

What happens when bears are given and get used to human food? Typically, the answer is a tragic one for the bear, but if they’re really lucky, it might turn into a job.

The bears in this video were lucky. Can you explain why it usually ends badly for the bear?

Have you ever seen someone do something that they thought would be something kind, but it turned into a kind of problem? How might you lessen the chance that something you do will have harmful unintended consequences?
