Acting on Your Heart
There are all kinds of interesting moments in our lives when seeing an immediate need, we’re prompted to act.
This story is about a guy named David and a moment like that.
Clearly a story of a rescued dog is a good one. It may not be as clear, though, that we shouldn’t always act on our emotional responses.
Can you imagine ways that acting on your heart could get you into trouble? Or perhaps cause problems for the person, dog, etc., you want to help?
We all have both brains and hearts, and learning to listen to and balance the messages from both is not easy. It is, however, what makes us capable of making stronger decisions than we might have otherwise.
