Bicycles and Hunger
Some years ago, a young man in the northwest USA decided to ride his bike to help people better understand how much food is wasted, and how many people deal with hunger in this country.
The video is from a service organization, Rotary, which allows people of different careers and backgrounds to get together to do projects to help others.
Having watched the video, think about the things you like to do. Could you take a hobby, and use it as a tool to help someone in need?
Did you know that there are service clubs in communities all over the world in which people do projects small and large to help others? How does it make you feel knowing that groups like Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, Soroptimist, and others are out there? How might you learn more about them?
