Crazy Cool Costumes
Ryan Weimer is a guy who has sons with a form of muscular disease that requires them to use wheelchairs.
For these boys, having a wheelchair means being able to get around much more easily than one would be able to without it. It also introduces some challenges, such as keeping the wheelchair from getting in the way of one’s Halloween costume.
Or does it?
If you were in a wheelchair, what would you want for a cool Halloween costume? What would it take to build it? Do you know people who like to build cool things for the sole reason that it’s cool to do that?
What’s something you’re good at? Could you use that ability to help someone else in some meaningful way? (Hint: the answer is yes, but the challenge might be knowing how.)
