Creative Solutions for the Global Good, ’21
On May 21, 2021, students from the Creative Solutions for the Global Good class at JunÃpero Serra High School (San Mateo, California), along with students from Parklands College (a PK-12th grade school in Cape Town, South Africa) presented the projects they have been working on this school year.
Both schools value the intersection of innovation and service, and the four presentations in this video highlight how students use technology to make a difference in the lives of others. Each speaks to what inspired them, as well as challenges resulting from the pandemic, with stories on how they overcame the problems they faced.
In the audience were almost one hundred supporters from all sectors of society, as well as 15 different countries (Canada, China, Colombia, England, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Africa, and the United States).
We hope you enjoy the recording of the program, and welcome questions and feedback, which you can send via email (rhurley@serrahs.com) or via this Contact Us form.
