Creative Solutions for the Global Good, ’22
On April 21 and 28, 2022, students from the Creative Solutions for the Global Good class at Junípero Serra High School (San Mateo, California), along with students from Parklands College (a PK-12th grade school in Cape Town, South Africa) presented the projects they have been working on this school year.
Both schools value the intersection of innovation and service, and the ten presentations in the videos (five presentations in each) highlight how students use technology to make a difference in the lives of others. Each speaks to what inspired them and what they were able to build, along with stories on how they overcame the problems they faced.
In the audience were over one hundred supporters from all sectors of society, as well as 19 different countries (Brazil, Canada, China, England, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Morocco, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, and the United States).
We hope you enjoy the recordings of the two programs, and welcome questions and feedback, which you can send via email (rhurley@serrahs.com) or via this Contact Us form.
