It Just Arrives
Some people have a style of communicating that lets you know very quickly that you’ve encountered someone special. Perhaps they say unexpected things that make you smile or think in new ways. Perhaps they reveal something personal that you find moving.
In this video, called Purls of Wisdom, a South African woman named Peggy tells about her love of life, and why she devotes time to knitting.
At one point in the story, she says, “It just arrives.” What is she talking about, and what does it mean to you that she can say that?
Have you ever received a completely unexpected gift, totally unrelated to a birthday or holiday? Have you ever received something from a kind stranger?
What gifts do you give?
If you aren’t used to a South African accent, you might turn on YouTube’s closed caption tool.
