Service via Video Project
Welcome!
Young people (and those young at heart!) from around the world are creating videos that tell stories of people serving their communities, and we want you to take part!
The sponsors of this project, Next Vista for Learning and the Rotary eClub of Silicon Valley, are looking to celebrate the creativity, storytelling, and video talents of those willing to share stories of service to others.
The Service via Video Project
We are asking you to inspire others by telling stories of service using digital video. Additionally, videos by students that follow our rules will be included in a contest in which videos chosen as finalists will earn a charitable donation to the (eligible) charity highlighted in each video.
Next Vista for Learning will collect the videos you submit and place those meeting its standards in the online library of NextVista.org, a free, educational, digital media library. Students, this is a chance not just to tell about service, but also to win something by doing so. The team at Next Vista for Learning will choose a set of finalists, and from among them, Rotary members will choose the winners. The students who submitted finalist videos will receive a certificate and a donation to the service effort highlighted in their video, if the effort is an eligible charity.
Does this sound interesting to you? If so, talk with your friends, classmates, or club members, and kick your story-telling creativity into high gear!
