The Power of Yes
There are all sorts of barriers that keep us from accomplishing things. Some of those barriers may have more to do with how we see the world than what we might actually be able to do.
Ahead of the 2016 Olympics, this video was released to celebrate the Paralympics, which highlights phenomenal athletes and so many phenomenal people in all walks of life.
Think about the name of the song: “Yes I Can.” Are there voices in your head and heart that have suggested you can’t do something you want to accomplish?
Whether it’s overcoming a physical challenge, confronting a fear, or even stepping away when someone tries to get you to join them in something that you know is wrong, there is another voice you can listen to.
Listen close, and you may find that it’s time to decide that yes, you can make it happen.
