A Farmer’s Son
Have you ever felt that the people around you were all better or smarter than you?
Dado Banatao did. He was a farmer’s son who wanted to be an engineer, and went through some real challenges to become successful.
He’s also someone who saw an opportunity in his story to inspire others.
Clearly for Banatao, his connection to where he is from was important for the path his life took.
How many times along the path of his story in the video can you count when he might have given up? Can you list the barriers that would have caused this?
Would he have been as successful if he hadn’t wanted to make a difference in the lives of others? Why or why not?
