Changes in Views
A recurring theme in these posts is the variety of ways we can tell a story. This is another video in which the story requires very little in terms of words.
What do you learn from how the video was constructed? Why do you think the filmmaker chose the music that you hear? Why are so few people in the clips?
At the beginning and end of the video, there are words on the screen. What do they mean to you, and would you see the video differently if they weren’t there? Why?
Every story is as much about the audience as about the content. What you do in the work you turn in to your teacher might simply be your message that the assignment is done. Like the filmmaker in this piece, though, you might also choose to put your own stamp on the ideas, and in a cool, creative way that means the teacher and others who see your work won’t forget it anytime soon.
