Watching Space through Time
Here’s a video from Google about one of the tools in its Google Earth application.
As you watch, see what places you recognize, and how you might learn about changes in both these and the places in the video you don’t know.
Now, think about your own community, and how a view from above might change over time. What do you think might be different in five years? In twenty?
In thinking about why we have these images at all, what does this say about what we value as a society?
